SNMIH Moves Toward Expanding MBBS

The revised annual intake will be reflected on the website once the applicable National Medical Commission approval and seat matrix are formally confirmed.

Shree Narayan Medical Institute & Hospital is moving toward increasing its annual MBBS intake from 150 to 200 students, adding 50 more opportunities for aspiring medical students to study medicine in Saharsa.

The proposed increase comes as SNMIH continues to expand its academic and clinical facilities. Since welcoming its first MBBS batch, the institution has continued to develop its teaching infrastructure, departments, faculty strength and clinical training environment alongside its attached multi-speciality teaching hospital.

An increased intake of 200 students would allow SNMIH to welcome a larger group of future doctors each year while continuing to provide students with classroom learning, practical training and exposure to patient care within the teaching hospital.

The expansion also reflects the institution's wider growth in medical education and healthcare. With new clinical services, postgraduate programmes and specialist facilities being developed across the campus, SNMIH continues to strengthen its role as a centre for medical learning and patient care in Saharsa.

The revised annual intake will be reflected on the website once the applicable National Medical Commission approval and seat matrix are formally confirmed.
