Safety, Dignity & Respect
Every student has the right to study and live with dignity. Report ragging, harassment, intimidation or coercion immediately—whether you experience it or witness it.
Recognise It
Ragging includes conduct that humiliates, intimidates, coerces, exploits or threatens another student. It may take place in person, online, on campus, in hostels or during student travel.

Insults, threats, ridicule, abusive language or conduct intended to cause fear or embarrassment.

Assault, forced physical activity, confinement or any action that threatens another person’s safety.

Making a student perform an act they would not freely choose to do.

Demanding money, purchases, treats or other expenditure from another student.

Disrupting study, forcing academic work or using seniority to place unreasonable demands on another student.

Threatening messages, abusive posts, public humiliation or circulation of harmful digital content.
Do not wait for an incident to become severe. Students, witnesses, parents, guardians and staff members should report concerns promptly. The National Anti-Ragging Helpline is available around the clock for reporting and guidance. If someone is in immediate danger, call India’s emergency response number 112.
Move to a safe place and inform the appropriate institutional authority, Anti-Ragging Committee or Anti-Ragging Squad immediately. If there is an immediate threat to someone’s safety, call 112.
